The Story

Big Z is a Uyghur rapper based in Munich, born in the region that surfaces again and again on his covers as 0991. He raps mostly in Uyghur, a language being pushed out of public life in his homeland, and turns it into the natural language of trap, flex and pure swagger. Where others talk about where they come from, in his music it simply sounds: uncompromising, loud, no explanation needed.

With singles like Minkohan, B.I.G To The Fucking Z, Palast im Himmel and October, he established a distinct sound within just a few months of 2026: one that fuses Uyghur rap with German street sound and Central Asian influences. Collaborations reaching into the Uzbek and Turkish scenes have pulled in hundreds of thousands of streams and made Big Z one of the most visible Uyghur voices in international rap, a space that barely had anyone in it before.

Club LA continues that line: a track about nights, status and being untouchable, rapped almost entirely in Uyghur. On it, Big Z calls himself the Darth Vader of Uyghur rap, the antihero of a genre he's inventing as he goes.
